World Items and rare ownership

World Items are individually numbered rare equipment with limited active supply. They are optional possessions. Story discoveries, class trials, Rebirth and competitive participation cannot require one. Their stat blocks are retained in items and cards; numerical evaluation waits for the owner’s later pass.

Four equipment proposals

CodeItemEquipmentRetained item levelMaximum activeReplacement eligibilityCurrent proposed avatar source
EDGEThe Famished EdgeTwo-handed sword991Thirty days after a slot is freedUlgath — Hunger and flesh
MANTLELanternbearer’s MantleGarment992Thirty days after a slot is freedVorthaal — Stillness and oblivion
STRIDEBoots of the Unbroken StrideShoes2551Thirty days after a slot is freedYmbria — Dreams and revelation
FORKTuning Fork of the ChorusRod2551Next declared event window after a slot is freedSethrane — Identity and dominion

These are thematic source proposals, not owner approval of new artwork or computed encounter levels. The Famished Edge trades a self-cost for feeding pressure; the Mantle resists shadow/death-associated effects without granting conceptual immortality; the Boots aid movement rather than erasing roots or guaranteed criticals; the Fork offers a bounded spell echo rather than stolen player identity or a collective mind.

Serials and item identity are not reused. Owned, listed, unclaimed, reclaim-pending and investigation-held items count against supply. Freeing a slot permits a later eligible encounter; it does not immediately mint a replacement or resurrect a previous failed roll.

Rare roll and participation

The retained special base chance is 0.000001%, the exact probability 1/100,000,000, for each eligible named World Item definition or individual Fallen signature. It is one encounter/definition opportunity, not one roll per participant. Crowd size, party splitting, summoned organs, revived adds, checkpoints or retries do not multiply it. No pity, adaptive replacement, premium benefit or population modifier changes that special rate.

Ordinary resources, normal Echo Cards and participation goods use their own reward rules. A limited World Item also requires an available eligible supply slot. A true failed special roll remains failed; absence of an eligible recipient does not invent a second chance. The resumed lifecycle contract records contribution, recipient, supply and settlement proposals; their executable state machine still needs validation.

Ownership, movement and visibility

A valuable item keeps one identity through equip, storage, socketing, refinement and permitted sale. Transfers conserve the original object; interrupted outcomes must resolve to that same object and result. The resumed authority and persistence proposal assigns those guarantees to the Realm transaction owner. It is not an implemented or fault-tested settlement service.

World Items use their own permitted trade/storage rules rather than ordinary mail, player-trade or guild-storage movement. Market-only transfer and activity/reclamation proposals are reconciled in the current lifecycle contract. No cart is required; cart-specific container assumptions are superseded by the active profession paths.

Players must see serial, restrictions, supply/activity state, transfer outcome and any investigation/reclaim hold before committing. A failure or timeout cannot be presented as a successful duplicate. Reclamation is a disclosed ownership policy, not silent deletion or a guaranteed replacement gift. Candidate clocks and thresholds exist in the lifecycle proposal; recipient-score registration, policy approval and recovery fault tests remain required.

Fiction and limits

A limited avatar can yield a surviving expression of its influence. The whole Great Old One remains beyond the Veyr; a drop proves neither its death nor the end of the Outer God’s claim. World Items do not replace the Progenitor’s soul fragments, pay another global sacrifice, sever Fallen anchors or become compulsory campaign keys.

The four definitions are retained. The historical lifecycle and computational source remains reference material; the resumed lifecycle owns current proposals. The scalar probes verify the exact special-chance unit and representation. No probability-frequency claim, supply simulation or implemented lifecycle is established by that arithmetic check.
